A dialogue between collaborators emerged that saw a development of the process as an evolving and organic reaction to each others' contributions. Initial inspiration came from a fascination with spiderwebs, lightweight but temporary structures that disintegrate each time they are made. Material interest came from cuts in paper that expanded and became dimensional, to form tensile objects and space.
